I cannot speak enough about my hunt at Opatcho Lake Outfitters. Ken, his wife Crystal, made me feel at home the moment I arrived. Clean,comfortable cabins, the cook was fantastic with her cooking, always had coffee ready. The Guides were great, for all the hunters in camp they gave 100% effort. Ken knows his terrority and the action is fast and up close. I only go on Guided hunts and Opatcho Lake Outfitters is one outfit worth going with for your Canadian Moose.
I spent 10 days for moose hunting in Kens hunting camp Opatcho Lake. The camp has cozy log houses,all facilities are very clean and the hot shower before dinner is just great. The guides know all about the area and hunting is very successful because of the passion of the guides and the big boss Ken. Even things seem to be impossible,he arranges something. The meal is all home made delicious and the dinner is always fun with all the hunting stories. I sure will come back!
Stalking black bears is extremely exciting and hunting with Ken and Crystal Watson of Opatcho Lake Outfitters was a blast. We saw lots of bears and had plenty of stalk opportunities. I took my best black bear at 41 yards. Ken clearly understands bear behavior, knows his territory and will put you in front of game. And Crystal is a great cook. You won't regret booking a hunt with Opatcho Lake Outfitters.
